With over 25 years of service in health and human services as a child protection worker, supervisor, trainer, and administrator, I am passionate about supporting individuals and organizations in building resilience, built on a foundation of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging for all. I believe that when we center ourselves in relationships at all levels, we are better able to serve our communities. Through interactive training opportunities, reflective consultation, and organizational consultation, my goal is to help all of us build our capacity, foster a sense of belonging, and connect to the meaning and purpose in our work.

Training

With over 15 years in training and curriculum development, I provide interactive teaching and coaching that helps learners build skills and reflect on their experiences. Topics include wellbeing, preventing burnout and secondary trauma, emotional intelligence, stress management, built on a a foundation of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging. Whether you need a 30 minute Lunch and Learn, a conference keynote, or a full day workshop, I will collaborate with your organization to meet your online or in person training needs.

Reflective Practice

Helping professionals need time and space to process their emotions and experiences. Reflective consultation can build resilience by holding space to allow professionals to consider their reactions and process their emotions related to their work. This practice builds capacity to recognize our own biases and consider our work from multiple perspectives. As a Licensed Graduate Social Worker and endorsed Infant Family Specialist, IMH-E (R), through the Minnesota Association of Children’s Mental Health, I am honored to provide this vital practice for individuals and groups.

Organizational Development

Leadership is always evolving, but in the world of remote and hybrid workplaces, building community is more crucial than ever. Organizations have a critical role in supporting employee wellbeing, and agencies can take specific steps to build psychological safety and a culture of belonging within supportive, effective teams.
